This may be my favorite movie ever. It’s like an awesome amusement park ride…as soon as it stops, I want to go again!!!!
Hoping to see it again this weekend. It’s no longer in my IMAX, but that’s ok. Reg. Is fine. That one villain that from guardians of the Galaxy 1 roan that killed with a guest of wind who is that villan.
Finally saw it yesterday. So good, it at least lived up to the first if not surpassed it for me which was quite a feat.
When drax said to mantis your ugly then gamora comes and says what are u talking about and mantis says drax said i was ugly and gamora goes mantis your not ugly then drax turns and say WHAT DO YOU MEAN!! My favorite part was when Yondu and Rocket sent baby groot to get Yondu’s fin and baby groot comes back with a bunch of random stuff like an eye, a desk, yondu’s underwear, etc.
Only complaint really was that Peter snapped out of it too quickly. I hoped he’d remained “starry eyed” a bit longer and his new family would have to do something to bring him out of it, emphasizing his journey as a character, but then that tumor line ruined a possibly powerful moment, but running time I guess. It wasn’t as good as the first one, only because some of the humour was a little forced, and Mary Poppins dying made me snot cry! I would have preferred The Sovereign to be a little more ethereal too, rather than trying to be funny. The Adam Warlock reference made my sons nerd head pop off though! Wish Stan Lee would ease up on the cameos as well.
They are far funnier when you have to try and spot him. And he doesn’t speak!
Went to watch with my mother and brother yesterday, they really loved it. My mom is over 6. Drax and getting sad with *that* scene. Its easily on my list of favorite movies now! Awesome Movie, I do hope that their will be another one. The people playing in the Movie fit really well together.
Kurt Russell was awesome. This movie was so much better than the first! The visual effects were beautiful, the humor was awesome (scrotum hat?) and the action thrilling.
The highlight of this film was the character development. I hadn’t cried so hard for a movie since Logan. Especially at the very end when.
